Interesting beginning... strong first live performance of a the new song "Just Say The Word"... however the less than enthusiastic crowd sucks the life out of the band and sputters for a few songs... oh well ... it happens.

short mid section... rough "just Say it With Your Eyes"

A strong finish to a set list full of untested new material.

oh man these 2 takes just rock.. the first take is best musically... but the vocals got better in the later takes... love the drums/bass and energy of the first take. Harmonies are too low in the mix. funky guys... yeah.. listing again as I write this.. 1st take is the best.. great energy. Study Take 1 boys! ... more confidence on the backing vocals and this will be a wonderfully perfect interpretation.

8-13-08 Practice - JUST SAY THE WORD -TK3/4 ...

adding the new Japanese 2nd verse lyrics... and tightening the ending arrangement... this song is coming along nicely. Harmonies still need some fixing. Drummer's mic is too low for this session. Nice double kick/bass ending... with just a taste of The Who Live at Leeds.

8-13-08 Practice NO MATTER WHAT -TK4... lyrics all over the place... but lovin' this arrangement! The boys really are pulling together some cool ideas.

Badfinger gone mad!! Last take of the day... lots of wrong words... but the music and arrangement is coming together... quite good for a first rehearsal.

recorded unplugged at vocal rehearsal with iBOOK garage band through pc mics.

(bad sound, great picture) What did it show us? Singer needs to lose 5kg. Bassist needs new clothes and lose the glasses. Drummer needs to look at the audience and smile. However... show was fantastic. Great performance and energy. ...sorry the audio is too distorted. New video from JAM CAM with good audio being transfered.

Wow this is really improving finally. Parts are in place. This is an edit of 2 takes from the only takes (1 and 2) from 7-16's rehearsal.

Bass part is sounding much more confident, and drummer is getting most of the accents.

A few minor vocal experiments seemed to go in a better direction ... especially the higher tone on Satisfaction ... and the return to Paint It Black ...

Ending sounds cool now... rock on

A quick review of the vocal arrangement then an edit of Takes 2 and 3 into one best take for study by the band.

Nice funky bass playing and especially nice solo... drums dynamics still need some work. Vocals are geting better but not 100% yet.

Over-all starting to sound like the imagined arrangement.

OK... back to "SMILE" ... Here are Takes 5 and 6 from today... harmonies still need a lot of work... but music is getting tighter... Gonna be a groovy baby.

A funk DOORS cover... a good early take from one of the first rehearsals of this song.... Vocals are still being arranged... some parts worked, some didn't. Pretty decent solo sections for such a new song... things are lookin' good, baby.

An early take of the band learning a song from an upcoming iTunes release in June 2008. I'm Suprized At You.... great playing by everyone... harmonies are coming along... although bassist is singing an octave lower due to a cold.... next time, ne!

(Mixes presented hear are mixed so as to allow band members to review their singing at a later day. Thus, vocals are mixed loud and guitars are pulled down... Songs actually sound very different than presented here.)

... one interesting difference is that the camera falls over at the end... much to the surprise of the band!!! =o

the band whips through a few songs which may or may not start their live set in the near future... a mid tempoed tune followed by a brief interaction with the audience... revving up once again to the faster tempoed "Fire"... (mixes on this site are made to help the band review their singing... and are not mixed with as a normal band mix.... guitars may be a bit quiet.
